Trusted Voice. Right Choice.

Hello neighbors! I'm Chris and I'm humbled by the opportunity to serve you.

I'm a husband, father and sixth-generation Eastern Washingtonian. My family's history in this community dates back to the 1800s.

Over the past decade, my wife Lisa and I have built a home and raised our boys here in Liberty Lake. I coach baseball here. I enjoy the beautiful parks here. And I've built relationships with city leaders here. You've probably seen my family riding our bikes to get froyo, picking up teppanyaki takeout and shopping for produce at the farmer's market. Now, I'm ready to offer my experience and passion to you as a member of our Liberty Lake City Council.

I want to provide you and our great city with a fresh, experienced, well-connected voice. I'm an expert on key local and state policy issues, and I have experience operating and balancing budgets.

I'm a proud graduate of Gonzaga University where I earned a B.A. in Broadcasting and Political Science. Before I became a Zag, I graduated from Central Valley High School.

For 11 years I've served as the Eastern Washington Director for Washington Policy Center (WPC) - one of the nation’s leading state-based think tanks. You might recognize me from frequent appearances in newspapers and on news radio stations across our state.

Before joining WPC, I worked as a television news producer in Spokane.

I’m the city council member Liberty Lake needs - someone with communication and leadership skills, a policy background, budgeting experience, connections at the local and state levels, and most importantly, a love for our community.

City council members are placeholders. They are your voice. Your priorities are my priorities. I will always uphold the will of voters and respect our community's diverse opinions.

Our city is a tree-loving, festival-going, family and retirement-friendly, golf cart-riding community. Let’s work together to keep it that way.

I look forward to earning your vote.
